Continuing in the tradition of meticulously designed and produced seats, Sargent is pleased to introduce the World Sport XT-Series Adventure Touring Seat for the Kawasaki KLX 400 S / SR.

Utilizing the latest design techniques, exacting manufacturing processes, and superior materials, each World Sport seat pan is precision-molded for superior fit and installs just like the stock seat (no additional hardware required). The Kawasaki KLX 400 features our injection-molded PolyTec base pan. This super tough, lightweight material provides an exceptional, high-performance seat foundation.

Additionally, the XT-Series features our exclusive base pan Support Extensions – providing critical extra foam support where it’s needed most and widening the seating area by nearly 39%.

Gel-Free! Superior comfort and suspension without the thermal retention and extra weight of gel. Our Super Cell Atomic Foam suspension is our own unique and proprietary blend of resilience, firmness, and vibration-absorption qualities – making it well suited for maximum long distance comfort.

The World Sport XT-Series Adventure Touring Seat for the Kawasaki KLX features our marine-grade, UV-stabilized, upholstery – hand-sewn specifically to maximize the qualities of the Super Cell Foam. In addition, it is virtually maintenance free.

Seat Height Comparison

The World Sport XT-Series Adventure Touring Seat for the Suzuki DRZ 400 E/S/SM and the Kawasaki KLX 400 S/SR offers a wider, slightly dished seating contour to minimize pressure points, and is slightly lower than the OEM seat.

What About Heat?

Sargent does offer a heated seat upgrade with electronic controller for the KLR.  However, the amperage capacity of your bike and the demand of other installed accessories should be considered before committing to this special heated upgrade (subject to a restocking fee).

Our heated seat set-up draws approximately 1.53 amps (18 watts).
